After 12 hours on the road the last thing I wanted to do is go out somewhere to eat, so my husband being the amazing man he is logged onto one of the food delivery apps and ordered me food to be delivered to my hotel. When it got to my room I was so excited, and dig in! The brisket I got was AMAZING, and the baked beans were some of the best I've ever had! I realized that the side salad I had ordered wasn't in the bag! (The delivery guy neglected to check the order before leaving the restaurant) I called wild hog, unsure what the procedure is for this situation. The woman who answered, while also unsure, said she would take care of it. She hand delivered my salad to my hotel! Food: 10/10
Customer Service: 20/10
If you're in town definitely come in here! I'm definitely stopping in to actually sit and eat on my next trip through town! -

I made the choice to keep driving another 2 hours after already having driven 9 just so that I could end my long work day with a beer and a pulled pork sandwich at the whole hog cafe.
Great service. Fantastic food. All 6 sauces that are on the table are delicious.
Absolutely worth stopping in and filling your belly. -

We came on a Sunday afternoon. Missed the lunch crowd! Unfortunately the lunch crowd ate them out of chicken and sausage :-( , so I got pulled pork and brisket instead. Pork was great but the brisket was sliced way to thin and was a little tough. Decent portion sizes and the plates came with 2 sides and a roll. Got the green beans as one of my sides., WAY to peppery for my taste and chips. My husband got the brisket plate, baked beans, which he loved and the potato salad which had a lot of mayo in it.
They have a selection of sauces on the table, for you to choose. Try #1 and #5 mixed together. -

Was raised on this stuff in Arkansas and stumbled across it in Missouri. Spicy sausage, juicy brisket, and creamy potato salad is just what I needed. Six sauces to choose from. I went with Sauce #5 a sweet, heavy, molasses sauce. Out of this world!!

My very first trip to Springfield and I told my sister I wanted some real Missouri BBQ. So she took us to Whole Hog Café and I enjoyed every bite and bit of it. I had the Ribs Plate with burnt end cheesy corn and mac and cheese. That burnt end cheesy corn is one of the greatest side dishes I have ever eaten in my life. The ribs were juicy and tender and came right off the bone. When ever we go back to Springfield I will make a point to come back to the Whole Hog Café!
